Halloween

This Halloween was pretty great, I got to play 18 holes of golf (which actually wasn't too bad considering I havn't played in like 8 years)  After golf, I went to Tres Hombres for some yummy margaritas and then went back to watch some scary  movies!  I was a dinosaur this year, I sorta ran out of time to make my costume so I just put on my tail, a shirt, and some leggings and that was my costume!

The Weekend!

We had an excellent weekend hanging out together.  Friday night we went out to Thai food, Saturday we went out to the driving range and I hit like 100 balls in a row.  I got a nice callous on my finger and I think I'm ready for the actual course!  After the Driving range we wanted to practice our putting so we went to fun land and fit in some miniature golfing! 

After golf we went out to dinner to Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.  It was soooooo tasty!  And then on Sunday the day was full of football and yummy breakfast!

I got Eisis ready for Halloween too!

 

Fall

I finally harvested my pumpkins!  I was hoping for a whole bunch of pumpkins but that didn't  happen...instead I got 2.  One is sooo strange looking, but hey, its still orange.  The other one is perfect though!  I can't wait to carve them!

I went to my sister's house and hung out with my adorable nephew, Brodie.

And then went to a birthday dinner for my mom and took more pictures of Brodie... I can't figure out how to flip this, but its cute so oh well!

I got a complaint from my loving sister that I never post anything on here. So here goes... I'm still going to school...good ol' school.  Can't wait for that to be done.  I recently accepted a new position at work.  I am now the Resource Director for the Autism Society of Northern California.  Yipppee! 

Last weekend my Boss' daughter got married and I had to work at the wedding.  My co-worker Jenna and I were in charge of all the kids...and there were A LOT of kids.  I was busy the whole time, so here is a picture of me that expresses all my Joy in being able to sit down and eat.

My first post

So this is my first post. Yippee! I guess I'll say a little about what I've been doing with my life. I am currently attending Chico State, one more week and I'm a Senior! I'm majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. So in a nut shell, after I graduate with my Bachelors I have to go to graduate school and get my masters and I will finally be a Speech-language Pathologist. I can't wait :)

Until then though, I've been working for a place called the Little Red Hen. It's a non-profit Nursery/Gift shop that employs disabled adults. I basically designate tasks to everyone and make sure that everything runs smoothly. I also work with socialization programs for children with Autism. I run a socialization group for disabled teenagers as well, its fun because we just hang out and play games on Fridays and then go out into the community once a month and go bowling or watch a play. I'm hoping to start up a young adult program by the end of the month. I really love my job, and the pay isn't too shabby either!

I just recently traded in my almost beautiful (very well-loved) Jetta for a 2004 Honda Accord. I'm pretty sure it was the best decision ever. I'm in heaven with the air conditioning. I can't believe I survived two years without it.

Anywho, life is good.
